Hi, I’m Chenxi Li,
but you can also call me Aurora
I love connecting with people, exploring everyday perspectives, and combining technology with design methodologies to solve real-world problems. My goal is to turn vision into reality and create truly impactful work
# Landscape Architecture
I majored in Landscape Architecture, exploring spatial and environmental design. Over time, I became fascinated by human connection, which led me to interaction design
Engaging with nature, ecology, and sustainability deepened my design thinking, allowing me to balance systemic perspectives with attention to detail. This multidimensional approach continues to shape my work, expanding the boundaries of thought and creation
# Photography
Beyond my studies, photography has always fascinated me. Compared to language and text, images offer a more direct form of expression. While words can be refined or concealed, the emotions captured in an image remain raw and undeniable
Strictly speaking, all I wish to do is "lift the camera"—to raise the lens, steady the body, and align it with my gaze. In the final autumn of my university years, golden ginkgo leaves covered the campus. As I walked past the library lawn, a few leaves landed on the open pages of my book. That was the moment I lifted my camera for the first time
# Personality
I grew up in a small town in southwestern China, where many never leave their hometowns. The internet first showed me the world beyond, and later, I was fortunate to explore it in person. Traveling to China, Japan, Thailand, and Europe, I met people from diverse backgrounds, gaining insight into different cultures and regional challenges
Volunteering, in turn, gave my experiences deeper meaning. In the summer of 2024, I worked as an environmental volunteer on the Tibetan Plateau, embracing a way of life unlike the city. I played with local Tibetan children, exchanged stories with wandering travelers, educated tourists on ecological conservation, and witnessed the beauty of rare wildlife and landscapes. These experiences expanded my perspective, revealing new ways to connect with both people and the environment
Traveling and volunteering are two of the most meaningful ways I engage with the world

This space is dedicated to showcasing my personal explorations beyond interaction design
