Food production and retailing create environmental costs that consumers unknowingly bear. To address this, the designer proposes a systematic food environmental tax that calculates and discloses costs at each stage—from production to sale—making the tax rates transparent. This system aims to increase awareness among both businesses and consumers, encouraging more responsible practices

Through research, the designer holistically categorized environmental impacts, developed a structured tax model, and designed a corresponding platform. An interactive exhibition was also created, allowing the public to engage with the system firsthand and provide feedback, fostering a deeper understanding of food-related environmental costs
